Na Califórnia, Sunny Garcia passa por cirurgia nos pulmões

Sunny Garcia foi movido para um hospital na Califórnia no início da semana, onde teve uma cirurgia no pulmão realizada com sucesso

Internado desde o dia 29 de abril, Sunny Garcia foi levado por seus familiares de Portland, Oregon, para um novo hospital na Califórnia, onde passou por um novo procedimento cirúrgico nesta quarta (3) e onde permanecerá durante o restante de sua recuperação.

A operação foi um procedimento minimamente invasivo realizado nos pulmões de Sunny para tratar de uma pneumonia, contraída durante sua internação em um hospital de Portland.

Segundo sua filha Kaila, que assumiu a função de porta-voz oficial do pai durante este período, a cirurgia foi realizada com sucesso.

Hi Everyone, I wanted to ask everyone to please pray for my dad @sunnygarcia as he goes into a VATS surgery for his lungs tomorrow morning. As I explained in my last post, sometimes people get sicker when they are in the hospital for an extended amount of time. My dad got pneumonia in the hospital, and there have been a lot of complications so he needs this surgery to clear it up. Thankfully, we were able to move him to a new hospital in California that is really taking care of him. Please everyone keep praying and sending your love and support. I said it last time, and it’s still true. Dad is a WARRIOR and he is in a marathon, not a sprint. Please help him and our family keep up the fight by praying for him and sending him love for a few minutes every day. Prayer and love are powerful. “Obrigado a todos pelas orações! Elas devem ter funcionado pois meu pai saiu da cirurgia com segurança”, escreveu Kaila, já na manhã desta quinta (4).

Sunny está internado, inconsciente, desde o dia 29 de abril, quando foi encontrado em sua casa após uma suposta tentativa de suicídio. Desde a segunda semana de maio, ele já respira por conta própria, sem auxílio de aparelhos.
